Who are we?
Survive instinctively in the face of violent aggression.
"My goal since 2004 has been to pass on the best in terms of self-defense training and therefore combat to my team of instructors and our students." Stéphane Constant
Krav Maga is not a synthesis of several combat sports.
Krav Maga works with “principles” that offer solutions as a system (therefore operating under systemic principles).
So we are supposed to analyze the facts as elements of complex systems and thus propose a basic and easy to implement solution under stress in a survival situation and not a competition situation (which makes a HUGE contextual difference)
As a system, Krav Maga is therefore not "fixed" in terms of solutions. Nor is it based on a logic of "perfect" techniques "like a kata."
Krav Maga is constantly evolving and therefore requires adapting not to the "current combat sport fashion" but to the evolution of potential dangers.

Our story
The first courses were provided for the benefit of various law enforcement units. In September 2004, the Delfosse Gendarmerie barracks hosted the very first Krav Maga courses within the National Gendarmerie, following those provided at the Beynes barracks (GIGN, etc.). For several years, the Delfosse barracks was THE place for Krav Maga training in the Lyon region. At that time, Krav Maga was not officially structured at the national level, without a "ministerial" framework, etc.
The students generally did not wear protection. Fights and contact were "full" power.
Since 2012, Krav Maga has been regulated, particularly through the official testing of "DAN" (Black Belts). With this legal framework, courses have evolved, with student protections and federal training.
When the teaching of Krav Maga began to spread beyond the borders of Israel, a need arose to found an international organization because the existing Krav Maga association at the time was divided and did not function effectively due to dissension among the higher ranks. Imi wished to form a new international federation with the support of his most loyal students. Many black belts trained by Imi even wanted to create a competing or " partner " structure by moving away from the FUNDAMENTAL principles of Krav Maga: instinctive response, based on the reflexes of the human body, optimization of gestures, always simple & effective responses, best training time/effectiveness ratio , etc.
Evolution
In this dynamic, the organization and development of the discipline gradually moved away from the initial objectives as taught by Imi: to effectively train civilians so that they could survive an aggression by adopting a "closed" academic system (like a "kata") and superficial or even random access (by negotiating the content of the test) to the different grades including the high levels.
Faced with this alarming observation observed from within (with his status as the highest ranking Frenchman and member of the global team of expert trainers) the federation and with more than 25 years of experience in the organization, Stéphane Constant gradually detached himself from these systems in order to train his own students with a unique dynamic such as Imi taught:
